Potential Abstract:
Virtual environments offer unique opportunities to enhance educational programs, including service learning initiatives. This study explores the integration of synthetic collective experiences into virtual service learning programs, aiming to foster deeper engagement, empathy, and critical thinking skills among participants. By leveraging advanced artificial intelligence technologies, participants are immersed in realistic scenarios where they collaborate with virtual entities to address complex social issues. The research design involves a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative data from participant reflections and quantitative data on learning outcomes. Findings suggest that virtual synthetic collective experiences provide a novel and effective method for enhancing the impact of service learning programs, promoting deeper understanding of social issues and fostering a sense of global citizenship. The implications of this research extend to the design and implementation of innovative educational strategies that leverage virtual environments to promote meaningful learning experiences.
