Potential Abstract:
Creativity is a complex and multifaceted construct that plays a critical role in education and cognitive development. In this study, we propose a novel approach to investigating creativity constructs using GitHub, a popular platform for collaborative software development. Drawing on the idea of conservative simulation, we aim to explore how the iterative and collaborative nature of GitHub can be leveraged to gain insights into the creative processes involved in problem-solving and idea generation. By analyzing the interactions and contributions of users on GitHub repositories related to educational projects, we seek to uncover patterns and trends that shed light on the underlying mechanisms of creativity in educational settings.
Through this unique methodology, we hope to provide a new perspective on the study of creativity in education and contribute to the development of innovative pedagogical approaches that foster creative thinking and problem-solving skills. Our findings have the potential to inform educators, researchers, and policymakers on how technology platforms like GitHub can be utilized to support and enhance creativity in educational contexts.
