Investigating the Impact of Personalized Safe Spaces on Student Engagement: A Causal Model Approach with Artificial Intelligence and NFTs

Potential Abstract:
Personalized learning has gained significant attention as an effective pedagogical approach in recent years. However, little research has explored the potential of integrating personalized safe spaces into educational environments to enhance student engagement. This study employs a novel approach by leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to develop a causal model that investigates the impact of personalized safe spaces on student engagement.

The study aims to address the following research questions: (1) How can personalized safe spaces be designed and implemented in educational settings? (2) What are the effects of personalized safe spaces on student engagement? (3) How do contextual factors, such as student background and learning preferences, moderate the relationship between personalized safe spaces and student engagement?

To answer these questions, a mixed-methods research design will be employed. Firstly, qualitative interviews and focus groups will be conducted to gain insights into current practices and perceptions regarding safe spaces in education. Based on the findings, a personalized safe space intervention will be developed and implemented in a secondary school setting. The intervention will utilize AI algorithms to adaptively tailor the safe space experience to each student, integrating elements such as color schemes, seating arrangements, and sensory inputs.

Data on student engagement will be collected through observations, surveys, and biometric sensors, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of students’ emotional, behavioral, and cognitive engagement. The data will be analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics, along with structural equation modeling techniques to examine the causal relationships between personalized safe spaces and student engagement.

The findings of this study have the potential to inform the design and implementation of personalized safe spaces in educational contexts. By leveraging AI and NFTs, educators can create adaptive and inclusive learning environments that cater to individual student needs. Understanding the causal mechanisms underlying the impact of personalized safe spaces on student engagement will enable educators to make informed decisions in promoting positive learning experiences.
