Potential Abstract:
This research article delves into the intersection of operant conditioning, safe spaces, open science, and Foucauldian theory to examine the construction and utilization of causal models in educational research. Drawing on the theoretical framework of Foucault’s concept of disciplinary power, this study seeks to explore how the design and implementation of safe spaces within educational settings can be understood through the lens of operant conditioning. Additionally, the article investigates the role of open science practices in promoting transparency and accountability in the development and validation of causal models in education. Through a critical analysis of existing literature and empirical studies, this research aims to provide insights into the complexities of knowledge production in educational research and the potential implications for policy and practice.
