Potential Abstract: In this study, we investigate the role of distributed hashing in fostering educational equity within borderless communities. The concept of distributed hashing, often utilized in the context of blockchain technology, allows for the decentralization and secure sharing of information across diverse networks. Drawing on theories of rhetoric and educational policy analysis, we explore how the rhetorical regime within these borderless communities influences the implementation and effectiveness of distributed hashing as a tool for promoting equity in education. Through a mixed-methods approach, including qualitative interviews and network analysis, we examine the practices and discourses that shape the rhetorical regime and its impact on the dissemination of educational resources and opportunities. Our findings reveal the complex interplay between technological infrastructures, rhetorical strategies, and educational policies in shaping the dynamics of educational equity within borderless communities. By illuminating these dynamics, our study contributes to a deeper understanding of the potential of distributed hashing to address systemic inequalities in education and empower marginalized groups within global networks.
