Potential Abstract:
The intersection of technology and society has rapidly transformed the landscape of education, with cryptocurrency emerging as a disruptive force. This study delves into the realm of techno-social textuality within critical education, exploring the narratives and stories surrounding cryptocurrency. Through a qualitative analysis of interviews, focus groups, and online discourse, we uncover the multifaceted ways in which individuals engage with and interpret the concept of cryptocurrency in educational settings. Drawing on critical theory and digital literacy frameworks, we investigate how these techno-social narratives shape educational practices, power dynamics, and knowledge construction processes. Our findings reveal the complex intertwining of socio-cultural contexts, technological affordances, and textual representations in the discourse of cryptocurrency within education. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the implications of technology-driven narratives on educational equity, inclusion, and pedagogical approaches in the digital age.
