Potential Abstract: In the rapidly changing landscape of education in the postindustrial era, the traditional practices of teaching and learning are being challenged by the need for more flexible, dynamic, and adaptive approaches. This study explores the potential of blockchain technology to transform educational practices within context-laden settings. By reframing learning experiences through the lens of blockchain, educators can create more personalized and transparent systems that empower learners to take ownership of their education. This research investigates the implications of integrating blockchain technology in educational settings, focusing on how it can enhance collaboration, authenticity, and accountability in learning environments. Drawing on theories of socio-technical systems and design-based research, this study examines how blockchain can be leveraged to create decentralized and secure platforms for credentialing, assessment, and record-keeping.
