Potential Abstract: This research article examines the intersection of social politics, open data, and post-imperial perspectives in the field of education. As societies continue to grapple with issues of equity, access, and power dynamics within educational systems, the role of data in shaping educational policies and practices cannot be understated. By adopting a post-imperial lens, this study aims to challenge dominant narratives and structures that perpetuate inequalities in education. The utilization of open data in this context offers opportunities for transparency, accountability, and democratization of decision-making processes. Through a qualitative analysis of open education data in diverse educational settings, this research explores how different stakeholders engage with and leverage data to address social justice issues and foster inclusive practices. By centering marginalized voices and perspectives, this study seeks to contribute to a more equitable and just educational landscape. The findings of this research highlight the potential of embracing a post-imperial paradigm in shaping educational policies and practices that prioritize social justice and equity.
