Potential Abstract:
This research study adopts a sociocultural perspective to investigate the complex ecologies at play within educational settings, particularly focusing on the implementation of open educational practices. Drawing on Keynesian economic theories as a foundational framework, this study delves into the interplay between macro-level policies and micro-level practices in education. Through a mixed-method research design, including both quantitative and qualitative data collection methods, the study seeks to understand how open educational practices are adopted, adapted, and experienced by various stakeholders within the education system. By examining the sociocultural dynamics that shape and constrain the implementation of open educational practices, the study aims to provide insights into the potential impact of these practices on educational equity, access, and quality.
