Potential Abstract: This research study explores the intersection of cognitive scoring, learning analytics, and market dynamics through the lens of Julia Kristeva’s theory of abjection. By examining how cognitive scoring systems influence educational outcomes within the context of market-driven educational environments, this study aims to provide insights into the implications of using such technologies in shaping teaching and learning practices. Drawing on Kristeva’s concept of the abject as a disruptive force that destabilizes boundaries, this research investigates how cognitive scoring mechanisms can both enhance and challenge traditional educational practices.
