“Mindsets and Constructionist Approaches in Postmodern Education: Exploring the Use of Jupyter Notebooks and Cloud Technologies in a Metalogue Context”

Potential Abstract: This research investigates the intersection of constructionist learning, mindset theories, and postmodern educational practices through the integration of Jupyter notebooks and cloud technologies within a metalogue framework. Drawing on the principles of constructionism, which emphasize hands-on, collaborative, and project-based learning, this study aims to explore how incorporating Jupyter notebooks and cloud technologies can enhance student engagement and foster a deeper understanding of complex concepts. Additionally, by considering the role of mindset theories in shaping students’ beliefs and attitudes towards learning, we seek to uncover potential connections between growth mindsets and the adoption of innovative educational tools.

By employing a postmodern lens, this research challenges traditional educational paradigms and encourages a more dynamic and adaptive approach to teaching and learning. Through the use of metalogues – dialogues that examine the nature of communication and knowledge construction – we aim to create a space for critical reflection and exploration of diverse perspectives. This study will involve the implementation of a series of hands-on activities and collaborative projects that leverage Jupyter notebooks and cloud technologies to facilitate student-centered learning experiences.
